Dr. Justin Gest will present the findings of his latest book, The New Minority: White Working Class Politics in an Age of Immigration and Inequality. He details a comprehensive cross-national analysis of white working class alienation in the United Kingdom and the United States, along with survey research of radical right support due to loss of social status and political importance. This event takes place on Tuesday, October 18, 2106, from 2:00-3:30, in Founder's Hall on Mason's Arlington Campus, Room 716. It is free and open to the public, with registration.
