ESS student Roger LeBlanc, Jr. wins 2012 CHSS First-Sweitzer Scholarship

The First-Sweitzer Scholarship is awarded to an academically outstanding first-year, full time student.  Roger LeBlanc was in the Cornerstones program as a freshman and is currently an Environmental and Sustainability Studies major.  In addition to his outstanding academic performance, Roger has demonstrated his commitment to the environment outside of the classroom as well, participating in a spring break program helping to restore wetlands in Florida, serving as a Peer Mentor for the Sustainability Living Learning Community, and working with the Green Patriots organization here at Mason.

We would like to congratulate Roger on his outstanding first year and on being awarded the 2012 First-Sweitzer Scholarship.
